I already created my design with a lot of 2x4x9' boards the same length. Is there a way to convert all of them to a component instead or do I have to delete them all and start over?

I hate using too many software for a single project since its quite hard to coordinate with the other consultant , I would prefer blender more than sketchup since theres no topology in skp at all and its quite annoying to make complex shape or even make it compatible since sketchup is not build for it . However theres tons of existing plugins such as subdivision modelling . However , still , I have done my research and clock in time to make opera house in sketchup and blender , it took 80% faster in blender rather than sketchup since theres already a modifier in blender to handle those complex shapes. Its not that sketchup is bad but its too slow.

The Sequence media type also gives more control for basic flythrough animations since you can set a specific key time for your frame, allowing you to have fast transitions and slow transitions where you want them.

Justin. Thank you very much for the video. I don't know if you have heard about a strange issue with Materialize. When you open the file browser and head to the base image folder you find a a red question mark instead of the image thumbnail. When you import the file nothing shows up. I have tried all the suggestions, nothing worked. Any help? The program now is useless.

Apparently now you have to pay to edit textures. Stupid and disappointing. That's literally the only paid feature I need, so there's no way I'm paying for an expensive subscription! I hate that companies keep hiding BASIC features behind a paywall. Especially a subscription instead of a one-time fee. This is a BASIC feature!

Hello Justin, Great video. This might be exactly what I'm looking for. My question is this: I"m using Medeek plugins to draw with. How would you break out different types of lumber such as 2x4, 2x6, LVL and such being that all of this gets dumped into one layer by the Medeek plugin?

The cutting section can be filled in SketchUp; however, when exporting the animation, the filled sectioning is not activated. Can SketchUp do this?
